How Kapiture Came to Be
Kapiture was established in Bangkok in 2018 by a group of finance and education professionals who had spent years observing the same pattern: individuals and working professionals frequently encountered financial concepts they did not fully understand, yet rarely had a constructive, non-sales-oriented place to develop that understanding.
The financial services industry in Thailand, as elsewhere, tends to present information within a sales context. While that serves a purpose, it leaves a gap for people who simply want to learn — without being guided toward a particular product or decision. Kapiture was created to fill that gap.
From the outset, the company has maintained a clear distinction between education and advice. We do not hold financial advisor licences, and we do not seek to influence participants' financial decisions. Our role is to help people ask better questions and interpret information with greater confidence.

The People Behind Kapiture
Pattarapong Thawirat
Lead Educator & Co-Founder
With a background in corporate finance and over fifteen years of experience in the Thai financial sector, Pattarapong develops the core curriculum and leads the mentorship program.
Nattaya Viratham
Markets Educator & Co-Founder
Nattaya spent a decade as a research analyst before transitioning into education. She designs and facilitates the Market Analysis Fundamentals program, with a focus on critical reading of financial data.
Sorawit Kanchanaphon
Corporate Programs Facilitator
Sorawit brings experience from operations management and has worked with cross-functional teams across several industries. He leads the Corporate Finance for Non-Finance Professionals program.

All course materials are reviewed before each new cohort begins, with particular attention to regulatory updates in Thailand and changes in standard financial terminology.

We operate within the guidelines relevant to educational services in Thailand and are transparent about the distinction between education and regulated financial services activity.
Participant Feedback
We collect structured feedback at the conclusion of every program. This informs both content development and delivery adjustments across subsequent sessions.
Data Privacy
Participant information is held securely and used only for program administration and communication. We do not share participant data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Our educators engage in ongoing professional development — attending industry events, reading current literature, and participating in peer review of course content.
Clear Boundaries
We maintain a clear separation between educational content and any commercial interests. Kapiture does not receive referral fees or commissions from financial product providers.

Kapiture's programs address this need directly. Rather than broad introductory courses with no clear application, our sessions are structured around the specific kinds of knowledge that participants in Bangkok's professional environment are most likely to need. The curriculum is built by educators with direct experience in the disciplines they teach — not adapted from generic international materials.
Since 2018, Kapiture has worked with several hundred participants across Bangkok — from recent graduates building a foundation, to mid-career professionals seeking to fill specific knowledge gaps, to individuals approaching personal financial decisions with greater care. Our approach has remained consistent throughout: structured, candid, and focused on the participant's own development rather than any commercial outcome.
